It’s your turn to cut the grass...
I don’t like snakes. Let me repeat. I don’t like snakes. Yes, yes, yes, I get that snakes play an important role in the wildlife ecosystem, and I can respect that to some extent, but poisonous snakes, and being surprised by poisonous snakes can leave me completely unhinged. So my first order of business as a land owner of 18 acres was to read up on how to control snakes, and after hours of internet sleuthing the #1 conclusion I drew from all I that read was that you really have to keep the grass cut to control snakes, or at least not be surprised by them.
Cutting 18 acres is not for the faint of heart, so in rolls John Deere. David grew up working a tobacco and pecan (pəˈkän,) farm, or according to David pronounced (ˈpēˌkan). He is in his element when it comes to working land, and procuring a new tractor for his land just made him giddy! We ended up going with a John Deere 3038E, a tractor comfortable enough to cover our acreage and comfortable enough for me to drive.
It’s his turn to cut the grass, and expose those sneaky snakes!
